NCE Test Prep starts Sept 6!

08/04/2025 7:18 AM | Anonymous

Hi everyone!

I'm offering affordable NCE/CPCE/CECE test prep. There's a reduced rate for grad students - use the discount code GRAD25 at checkout. The rate is $199 for practitioners and $149 for grad students, for 6 hours of tutoring plus materials (4x 1.5 hour weekly meetings). Test prep is offered on Saturday afternoons. Classes start Sept 6. An NCMHCE asynchronous course is available; I will offer my next live course for NCMHCE in March 2026. Thom uses the Zoom online platform, so people can participate from across the country. As a counselor educator and practitioner who has taken and passed both the NCE, NCMHCE, and CPCE, Thom understands how graduate study and clinical experience are not necessarily sufficient for passing these exams. Thom’s tutoring approach for the NCE/CPCE has over a 90% pass rate.

FAQs

What’s the refund policy?

Refunds will be processed 24 hours before the first training session date. Attendance and participation in my test preparation is not a guarantee of passing the exam. Refunds will not be issued based on your exam performance.

What if I have to miss a session?

Plenty of my test takers participate in some or all of the test prep sessions asynchronously rather than live. I record all tutoring sessions for later viewing. I upload video recordings to an online Google Drive folder by the end of day. That same Google Drive folder houses all the test prep materials that you need to prepare for the exam. Importantly, students who participate asynchronously seem to perform just as well as students who attend live.
